Chef' Special

Chef’Special is a five-piece popband from the Netherlands with a unique blend of hip-hop, rock and reggae. Since their formation in 2008, Dutch band Chef’Special has released five albums and toured extensively across Europe and the US. 

A huge part of Chef’Special’s success are their already legendary live performances in which the audience is as vital to the experience as the band themselves. Whether Chef’Special is touring America as support act of Twenty One Pilots, performing on the main stage at festivals like Lowlands, Pinkpop, Sziget, or in huge sold-out venues like Ziggo Dome (16.000 cap) in Amsterdam; they always convince the whole audience and turn every show in a party. 

Although Chef’Special’s musical palette encompasses various genres, the band has a very recognizable sound in which their own emotions and experiences are front and center. In spring 2024 they released their new studio album “New Gold”. Starting off in a sold out album tour in the Netherlands and hitting many festivals in Europe this year.

The fifth Chef'Special album is accelerated by radio hits ‘Speed Of Light’ ‘Fly Like Me' and, which further explores the musical palette of the band, but at the same time you hear that typical Chef'Special sound. Personal, close to the heart, emotional and immediately lodged in your head. These singles have already conquered a place among genuine classics such as 'Amigo', 'In Your Arms' and 'Afraid Of The Dark'. On stage, all these and the many other songs from Chef'Special take on an extra dimension, making every performance a unique experience.
