SuperJazzClub

SuperJazzClub is a Ghanaian creative collective consisting of artists/producers/film makers and DJs, BiQo, Øbed, Seyyoh, Tano Jackson, Joeyturks, & Ansah Live.

Formed in 2018 in Accra, the members who were then friends came together to express themselves creatively and share ideas as SuperJazzClub. With similar creative interests, the collective sought to exploit their varying creative backgrounds to build a unit that was cohesive in thinking yet diverse style.

Their first single from SuperJazzClub “Couple Black Kids” was released in June 2019 and it’s been a steady incline from there.

SuperJazzClub’s ascent and rise up until this point has been the result of a very grassroots approach. Despite operating in a very self-contained and DIY manner, they’ve managed to acquire critical praise from tastemaker publications and platforms like Dazed, The Independent, CLASH, The Face, COLORS, i-D, Trax Mag, DMY, The NATIVE Mag, The Blues Project, Nataal and Manju Journal. With the end of 2023 seeing them featured in Dazed100.
