Ethel Cain

Ethel Cain, the musical project of Hayden Anhedönia, emerged after years of self-taught production. She wrote, produced, and recorded her 2021 EP Inbred in an old church basement. Her acclaimed 2022 debut album, Preacher’s Daughter, took over four years to complete and was praised by The New York Times, NPR, Vogue, and more. In 2025, she released Perverts, an experimental project blending drone, noise, and slowcore. Cain has since performed globally, collaborated with fashion brands, and shared stages with Florence + the Machine and Mitski. She returns in 2025 with her new album, Willoughby Tucker, I Will Always Love You.
