A new wave in music is taking shape, and 19-year-old glaive is at its forefront. Named after a weapon in Dark Souls III, glaive’s intuitive songwriting is rich with raw emotion, offering glimpses into his unique life and shared human experiences. He first gained attention at 15 during the pandemic, collaborating online and blending electronic avant-garde, pop microgenres, punk, alt-rock, dream pop, and indie folk into a fluid musical identity.

From his small-town roots in North Carolina to opening for The Kid LAROI, glaive has redefined pop by innovating within tradition.
